Hi All,

We'll be making a small video to promote Greensborough as a great community and place to live. As input towards this, we'd like suggestions on the top 3 keywords or attributes of this community, so we can be sure to highlight these in the video. Attributes could be family-oriented, friendly, close to train, etc.

We look forward to your input and we'll be sure to put up the video on the website once it's complete. It'll also be used to promote the homes we sell in Greensborough.

As a side note, if anybody is interested in being featured in the video, send me an email at mail@allardteam.com

http://www.yorkregion.com/opinion/letters/article/1290832--group-also-believes-in-religious-freedom

Group also believes in religious freedom

Will you want to live in Markham two years from now?
That is the question I’ve been asking since taking on the role of president of Markham Residents for Responsible Community Planning four months ago.
It was with a rueful smile I read Thursday’s edition, published after my deputation to town council.
I then read the letter to the editor two days later, which was a statement of support for the Islamic Society mosque by 17 pastors and reverends of Christian churches.
My smile quickly gave way to a deep sense of disappointment. Why?
Simple, it was in this newspaper Sept. 29 I first learned a massive 28,000-square-foot structure was going to be built on 16th Avenue on less than two acres, just blocks from my home.
Moving into action, I and others quickly discovered that:
1. A 160-unit townhouse development was planned next to it, backing onto Swan Lake.
2. The Amica Retirement Home, next to that development had plans to add a second, larger wing.
3. The large crane that had gone up on Hwy. 48, just metres north of the Markham Museum was for the purpose of constructing twin 18- and 20-storey condo towers with more than 430 units.
4. In addition, another 50 townhouses were included in that development.
In short, the beautiful town and neighborhood where we had bought our dream home nine years earlier had been placed in serious jeopardy by the developers of the mosque, townhouses and condos.
Simple mathematics dictates that in addition to worshippers, between 1,500 to 2,000 new residents will be moving into an area of less than one square kilometre in a two-year period.
Let me deal with the elephant in the room once and for all.
Our association believes just as strongly in freedom of religion and the right to have a place of worship as the religious representatives who signed the statement.
But we cannot and will not accept projects that will destroy the historical, cultural and esthetic heritage of Markham; create severe traffic and pedestrian safety issues on overburdened roads or encourage illegal and dangerous parking.
And we will not allow unprecedented population density without the necessary infrastructure or planning.
Still want to live in Markham? Let’s fight for it!

Did you also know that the proposed mosque design also includes a morgue facility - to prepare dead bodies before burial?

And that the actual area of the mosque is NOW 32,000 sq feet (instead of 28,000) and the architects have quietly dropped the mezzanine floor from their plans (which was to accommodate women praying) and are setting off a part of the main hall for the same.

I don't know why the "RACE CARD" is always taking over this subject at hand. No one is against a NEW mosque being built in Markham, it is all about this one being chosen on a wrongly sized lot and location of land that is being proposed.

It sounds like it is much needed, no issues what so ever on this. It just needs to be in a space/location where it will not disrupt our daily lives weather it is through commuting on the roads, taking our streets up with parking because of inadequate spaces, the historic area that will not fit etc. etc. etc. NO ONE is objecting to a mosque being built in Markham. We all need to be happy where it is located is the REAL and TRUE issue.

As for the morgue/dead body issue...I am pretty sure (and this too is NOT a racist remark because it is an understanding of their ways) that many Chinese residents will be very alarmed with the bad spirit/omen issue being in their neighborhood. Plus there are health issues now, hearing this as well. Isn't there special rules and permits and licenses that need to be obtained for this with this being a RESIDENTIAL zone
Why oh Why has the Town not called a meeting for us all to be able to ask and get answers before this was EVER put forth this far!!! They are the ones at fault here for all of this and the non communication for public input and information!
This is something that we all need to be comfortable with...ALL races and cultures and religions! That is why this needs to be accepted but in the proper location. We all matter, for or against this, and this needs to be resolved to make us ALL comfortable and happy! The logical and right thing to do is to just RELOCATE this and the Town can do this and work with EVERYONE to make it happen! That is where we all come in to DEMAND them to do this NOW!

Don't just read this...DEMAND this to be FIXED!

There is an upcoming Town Meeting this Tuesday evening and the MRRCP has asked me to post to let you all know.

Tuesday January 17, 2012 @ 7pm - Join Us In Protest at the Markham Development Services Committee Meeting

We need your support to remind Town Hall and to keep the pressure on to reverse these ill-conceived projects. There is strength in numbers and we need to remind them that residents are not happy with the decisions taken. The best way to do that is to turn out in large numbers on Tuesday!

Council & Standing Committee meetings are open to the public and held at the Markham Civic Centre, 101 Town Centre Blvd. (northwest corner of Hwy. 7 & Warden Ave.) www.markham.ca

Thanks very much for your support and we look forward to working with you to get the results we all desire!

Please Greensborough and surrounding areas go to www.mrrcp.com and register and support them if you have not already. I don't mean to just sign the petition, I MEAN JOIN AND SUPPORT! They are fighting all these major issues for you, me , US. They need our support and if you cannot volunteer any time to spread the news, give out flyers, attend meetings then at the very least you can pay the 25.00 fee for them to keep on keep on fighting for us all. That is a LOT cheaper than our houses going down in value. The more that sign and join the more they can do.
They are fighting our causes and the majority of them doing this for US live in the older areas of Markham Village. Come on Greensborough, don't just be mad about what is going on, support and join and stop...

The OVERDEVELOPMENT that is occurring in our area. Stop the Townhouses and SAVE Swan Lake. Stop the Condo's, too much too fast and no road widening IS NOT RIGHT. Too much traffic as it is. and STOP the mosque from being built on Williamson and 16th and have it relocated to a proper more suitable area!

PLEASE...TAKE ACTION AND JOIN!

After flirting with putting a piece of town-owned land up for sale, Markham council spared a small natural habitat from being paved this week.
The less-than-1-acre property at the southeast corner of Hwy. 7 and Ninth Line will be retained by the town for a future parkette, Deputy Mayor Jack Heath said.
The decision came after residents from the Sherwood Amber Glen Ratepayers Association pleaded with councillors to keep the land for a natural park area while reps from Lindvest Properties, developer for the Grand Cornell, urged the approval of the land’s sale.
In a recorded vote, Mayor Frank Scarpitti and Councillor Don Hamilton voted to approve the land sale.
The remaining councillors voted in favour of turning it into a parkette.
Mr. Heath said east Markham can always use more natural space. He said he hopes the region or the province that owns the adjacent vacant land can work with the town to create a combined parkette of less than two acres.
“I can’t see they have any use for the land,” Mr. Heath said.

Scam Alert - Don't get suckered like I recenly did!
162 View(s)
2011-11-25 by Gbororez
Here I am minding my own business - ready to drive home from the Food Basic parking lot when a guy in a Blue Chrysler Town & Country minivan drives up to my car and says that he is a installer for a Home Theatre company and is in the neighbourhood to install a projector at a home. However, by mistake he was given an extra High Definition projector that he doesn't want to return to the warehouse as his warehouse pick-up receipt doesn't show that he received two projectors instead of one that he needed to install. So he simply wants to sell the extra projector for some quick cash rather than returning it to the wareshouse since his boss will simply sell it anyway as there is no 'official' record of extra projector being given out to installer on the receipt.

So long story short - he will sell me this projector/projector screen, which is worth $2000, to me for a $1000. He showed me the projector box (branded as Alumen a-700) and a projecttion screen, brand new and still sealed in its orginal packaging. At first I said no since I didn't need it and that it was probably stolen but he was persistent and told me that it wasn't stolen and showed me the warehouse receipt again. Given that it is the Christmas season and I was looking for some electronics for the house, I finally relented and negotiated an all in price of $400 for both. At first he pretended to want to walk away as the offered price was too little quickly decided to take me up on my offer of $400 as I seem to be a nice guy! He picked up the stuff from his van and put it in my car and said that we should both be happy as he got some extra cash while I got a great deal. Just as I was about to leave I asked him if I can take a picture of his van so that I have his license plate number - just in case I find out that the stuff is stolen. Interestingly, he had no issues with me taking the picture of his van.

So finally I come home, excited about my purchase and wanted to learning about my new projector, and did an internet search only to find out that this is a common scam often refered to as a 'White Van Speaker Scam'. So here I am stuck with an inferior piece of sh*t that is probably as fire hazard. I guess it is true what they say...BUYER BEWARE!!

The license plate of the Light Blue Town & Country Minivan is BLST 515.

This is from the Economist from last night Council Meeting:

A community group, lobbying for the relocation of the approved Markham mosque, took its concerns to council once again last night.
“The issues are still the same ... we are not going away,” said Alex Hardy of Markham Residents for Responsible Planning.
The group hasn’t received a response from the town about its traffic, safety, parking, congestion and preservation concerns, Mr. Hardy said.
While mosque-triggered overdevelopment issues, raised by residents, were not on the agenda at Tuesday’s meeting, Mr. Hardy was given 10 minutes to address council on behalf of the group.
However, resident Bhupen Karia and others stayed for the meeting, demanding to be heard.
Mr. Hardy asked council if a new traffic study was in the works, not just at the intersection of Williamson Road and 16th Avenue, where the mosque and a proposed townhouse development will be built, but the bottlenecked area of Hwy. 48 and 16th, where a condominium is under construction, north of Markham Museum.
“We want to see some movement on these issues from town council,” Mr. Hardy said.
The meeting became heated when Mr. Karia claimed he was told by a planning department staff member all mosque files are in Mayor Frank Scarpitti’s office.
Doesn’t have all files
Mr. Scarpitti asked Mr. Karia to get the name of the individual he dealt with at the planning department.
“To suggest that I have all the files — do you know how ridiculous that is?” Mr. Scarpitti said.
“I don’t have enough room in my office for all the files.”
The mayor offered to meet with residents after the meeting.
“I’m happy to talk with you anytime, sir, that’s how I work in this municipality and I’m proud of it,” he said

These "National Home Services" scam artists are back ....

These "National Home Services" scam artits sales people are back on Alfred Paterson Drive. We just had one come to the door this eveing (unannounced of course) claiming that he wasn't selling anything but he insisted on coming into our home to check our water heater ... I refused of course and asked him to leave ... but he was very aggressive in his manner.

Last Thanksgiving weekend we also had a similar type scam sales person from some unknown company come to the door insisting that he needed to enter our home and check our water filtration system (we don't even have one) ... the fact of the matter is that Town Of Markham water that we get from our taps and drink is exceptionally clean and is actually put to stricter testing and controls for purity than even most bottled water companies! (The Town will confirm this if you call them and ask) ... the bottom line is, these scam sales persons are NOT needed and certainly not welcome in your home. You don;t have to let them in.

DON'T get into a confrontation with them, DON'T let them in your home and DON'T sign anything.

Ask them to leave and if the don't they refuse, let them know that they are trespassing on your property!

Pass this on ... let all our neighbour's be fully aware.

If anyone knows of the names to avoid of scam companies knocking on your door or calling you on the phone other than "National Home Services", please share it with us all. Thanks.

I just want to post this to make it clearly stand out that we all need to go to this once again and BE HEARD! We need even a BIGGER turn out than last time. Our representivies will be speaking for us and demanding to let us have a say in what gets built in our neighbourhoods. Please show up:

MARKHAM RESIDENTS YOUR PRESENCE IS NEEDED AT THE TOWN HALL MEETING on TUESDAY NOVEMBER 8TH @ 7:00PM!

There is another Markham Town Council Meeting on Tuesday November 8th, 2011 @ 7pm. We need your support to remind the Mayor and Coucillors that they have yet to act desively on the points raised in our petition. There is strength in numbers and the only way we will be allowed to speak and to remind them that residents are not happy with the decisions taken is if you turn out in large numbers on Tuesday!

Markham Town Council started to get the message when 250 plus residents showed up and filled the Council Chamber on October 25th but to get the results we want we need to keep the pressure on!
AGAIN WE NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE AND PRESENCE TO ENSURE WE ARE HEARD!

Markham’s population has exploded by close to 50% in the past decade, going from 218,000 in 2001 to 304,000 this year. Still, this municipality northeast of Toronto clings to the moniker “Town of Markham” and retains vestiges of rural quaintness, such as Main Street Unionville; locals generally steer clear of town hall and re-elect their council without fuss.

But that changed last week. About 250 people packed council chambers and shouted down the Mayor about an item not even on the agenda: the city’s quiet approval of a second Markham mosque on the north end of town. “This is Markham Spring!” one man shouted. Some call this “Islamophobia.” At the very least, Markham today has a big-city problem, or at least a big suburb problem: designed for automobiles, it is gridlocked.

“The residents are incensed,” Phil Richardson, a business coach and president of a new group called Markham Residents for Responsible Community Planning, told me Wednesday, sitting in Starbucks in Markham Village and showing me pictures on his laptop of cars illegally parked on both sides of the road, during prayer times, at the Islamic Society of Markham mosque. “Mr. Mayor, are you prepared to stand pat when your residents are overwhelmingly against this building spree of townhouses, condos and an oversized mosque that clearly cannot handle its congregation?”
The first Markham mosque opened in 2005, at Dennison Street and Middlefield Road, in the town’s south end. A year later the mosque bought land at Williamson Road and 16th Avenue, which the town had rezoned in 2003 for a “place of worship.” This fall, after one public meeting, town council approved a site plan for a second mosque.

Locals responded, printing 3,000 flyers depicting a condo tower, a mosque and a townhouse, and asking, “Do you want these types of massive structures in historic Markham’s Swan Lake area?” (Along with the mosque, they oppose townhouses and condo towers set to rise nearby.)

How many will pray at the new mosque? In fundraising efforts, mosque backers boasted the new 28,000-square-foot mosque would host 1,600 at prayers; later the mosque told a local paper that had been a “typo” and put total worshippers at 600. On Wednesday, Ned Allam of Array International Architects, designers of the mosque, gave another total.

“Please talk to my clients about how many people are going to be there,” Mr. Allam said. “There are 188 parking spaces. Calculate four people in every car; this is the maximum who will be there.” Four times 188 equals 752.

“I think if they were building a church, everyone would be applauding,” he added. “If it’s a mosque, especially with the Islamophobia, people will fight that.” He added, “We should be like fish in the sea and admire everybody’s differences.” (A slightly idyllic view of marine life.)

No one at the existing Markham mosque returned calls. I visited Wednesday and found about 30 boys kneeling on a carpet, reciting the Koran with their imam. Brother Ilyas, who commutes here from East York, took my business card. No one called me.

A report last year by Markham’s traffic operations supervisor, posted in the mosque, notes: “All approaches to the intersection [where this mosque sits] are routinely congested due to parked vehicles, thereby reducing the capacity of the roadway by at least 50%.”

The site of the new mosque, enclosed by a chain link fence, is today a grove of 15 silver maple trees, each 50 to 75 years old, and a thicket of birches. A wheelbarrow leans against a maple.

It is a rustic scene, but locals say that at times they cannot turn left out of the Garden Basket, about two blocks west of here, such is the congestion on 16th.

Paul Comella, whose family owns the Garden Basket, a large independent grocery, said of the mosque plan, “It seems to me there has been some bending of the truth on their side. They are trying to downplay their size. Personally, I hope they find a location that is not so traffic-heavy.” An online “Petition to Build Markham Mosque Elsewhere” now counts more than 3,000 signatures.

Frank Scarpitti, Mayor of Markham, accused those fighting the mosque of spreading “misinformation,” about the size of the mosque. “It’s comparable to other places of worship,” he said, adding council could not go back on the approval of the mosque. “If you bought a piece of property and it was zoned a certain way, under provincial law we cannot stop a permitted use.”

But Mr. Richardson is not backing down either.

“We are going to continue to sign members,” he said. “We are going to use social media and door-to-door canvassing as a call to residents to bring a halt to this, up to and including legal action, to halt what we consider the destruction of the Markham culture and heritage.”

At the Garden Basket I asked Andrew Hunt, a chef at the local Pickle Barrel, about traffic issues and the mosque.

“Parking is a nightmare already,” he said. “The traffic can’t get worse.” Still, he added, “I love Markham. There’s fishing on the bus routes all over town.”

That, at least, is some small-town comfort.

The Cathedral & The Mosque
57 View(s)

I just read in the Economist about the beautiful Cathedral and it being VACANT all these years and what a WASTE and SHAME. So why not put it to use people? Why not make this the ICON for York Region for the Islamic people from all over the area to come and worship? It was built before the houses, it is there and has more than enough parking. It is built and wasting away. I am sure the owners are just waiting for a nice offer because of all the waste in money to keep it up and running plus taxes. It would have to be a "deal". So instead of building a 7 million dollar mini Taj Mahal on an undersized property where it WILL disrupt our living space, why not RELOCATE to this place instead? Why not at least check this out and re-think in the terms of it already being built with it's height and all it's domes. You can see that beautiful building throughout Markham. It makes sense to re-think this matter...big building > lots of land. Big building > not enough land plus chaos. It's a no-brainer, it seems logical.
This is what I call an IDEA folks and again it makes sense. RELOCATE! Even still, we should all be trying to come up with ideas to help MOVE this proposed place of worship to a more suitable area that would work for EVERYONE. That is what I call trying to work and think about the community.

If you have never taken a nice quiet walk with your family or alone, I invite you to try a nice peaceful walk around Swan Lake. Yes, there are swans there, in the Spring and Summer. It's not as big as Too Good Pond and I CHALLENGE the Mayor and Town to expand and keep it a "safe" zone. I would love to see it with more trails like "Too Good Pond". Don't we deserve to have such a beautiful place like Unionville?!! Instead we have a miniature one with potential townhouses which WILL DEFINITELY change it. The seniors walk around the pond and trails all the time. I just came back from a nice walk and said "hello" to a gentlman walking with his cane along the trails around the lake. They have benches along the walkways, even with plaques from donations with beautiful words inscribed on them. Many moved here because of this lake, the Swan Lake Senior's community and AMICA for example as well as many families seeing the beauty. There are two lakes there by-the-way. I encourage all of you if you haven't witnessed the beauty of it, to come for a lovely walk BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE. I ask you to help us fight the "over development here" and keep it a safe peaceful place where we can relax and call this home! Tell the Mayor, Mr. Campbell and Town Councillors that we DO NOT WANT ANY MORE DEVELOPMENT IN THIS AREA...SAY NO TO THE TOWNHOUSES AND ASK THAT THE MOSQUE BE RELOATED TO A MORE OPEN AREA. Let's keep SWAN LAKE BEAUTIFUL!

Halloween Surprise - a peanut
59 View(s)
2011-11-01 by KMMom
What a wonderful community evening last night! Our doorbell rang twice as many times as in previous years and it was wonderful to see all the kids and families roaming the streets enjoying themselves.

Our child received many treats containing peanuts last night, which is perfectly fine as she traded them with her non-allergic friend and everyone was happy. But when we reached into her bag and found an actual peanut --- not in a chocolate bar, not in a plastic bag, but just tossed into her trick or treat bag, it concerned us greatly. If she was reaching around in her bag and touched it unknowingly, a very serious illness could have resulted.

It seems somewhat unfathomable that in this time of heightened awareness about such allergies that someone would be that careless as to not at least put the peanut into some kind of sealed package. There was not another single thing in her bag, or that of her friend, that was similarly unwrapped. In fact some families put time and energy into wonderful loot bags tied with ribbons! To those families, thank you for bringing so much fun to the evening.

I know all parents of an anaphylactic child carefully checked the loot bags last night. I encourage you to root around in the bottom corners too.

Good afternoon Neighbours,
There are a lot of positive things going on as we stand up for our neighbourhood's sustainability. May I suggest that we keep it going. Although there is an organized group that has established a young relationship with the Mayor's office I suggest we each individually continue to express our concerns. I reminded the Council on Friday with another email that my concerns were still not yet answered. I will also be mailing another letter to the organization in charge of the place of worship. You can do the same and mail letters to the these addresses:
Masjid Darul Iman
6210 16TH AVE
MARKHAM, ON
L3P 3K8

and

Masjid Darul Iman
9889 Highway 48 (Unit 2 & 3)
Markham ON
L6E 0B7

In my letter I suggested a larger plot of land north of Major Mac and referenced Cathedral Town. Large place of worship followed by community. I hope you will do the same!

It is obvious to anyone who goes past the Denison mosque that there are traffic issues. If you drive by on a Friday afternoon it is Chaos with people just stopping at the side of the road in all directions, jaywalking and running across the road. If anyone was to say that the original concerns around traffic and parking were unfounded they would be wrong. There should have been more parking included in the planning. To me, the issues around traffic and parking at the Denison Mosque just provides further evidence that we need to rethink the location or size of the Mosque on 16th. That location just cannot handle those kinds of volumes without safety and traffic issues.

http://www.yorkregion.com/news/article/1234494--mosque-controversy-repeats-itself

So I read this news artical today in the Economist and I just have to ask "WHY"?? Why is the Mayor and Council allowing this to happen again. They should know what NOT to do by now and the end results is that this is NOT the right spot/location for this building to be built. Please do notice too, that it took YEARS to build and complete!!! Please notice as well the "goodwill gestures" which are not at all "GOOD WILL GUESTURES" because if that were true then the Islamic Society would care about the residents and choose the proper location in the first place and now even so, they should give a "GOOD WILL GUESTURE" and develope this in the right area. I am APPALED that this happened before and only 2 Regional Councilor voted against it back then in favour for the hundreds that were upset. Here we go again...NOT. We are now THOUSANDS people and we have the right to say what gets built in our area and where. This also includes the Townhouses and Condos. WE ARE THOUSANDS and believe me these TOWN COUNCILORS AND MAYOR that are pushing this through WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN this next time around when it comes to election time! SHAME ON YOU ALL, you don't care because you don't actually live around here. If you had, you would have made this visibly known and public long ago and let US have a say!

1) The 160 Townhouse development on 16 & Williamson, the Mosque across the street and the 2 high rise condominiums plus the town houses behind it,

2) Stopping or slowing extensive construction in the area,

3) Traffic congestion, parking, safety and saving Swan Lake.

BUT WE ARE NOT THERE YET!

We are now several thousand on the petition but we still need more. Please have your friends and neighbours click on the below link and sign the petition:

http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/petition-to-build-markham-mosque-elsewhere.html

We are meeting with the Mayor on Friday to see if Town Hall will act on our petition.

WE NEED YOU TO TURN OUT IN LARGE NUMBERS.

Come down to Markham Town Hall at 12:00pm on Friday Oct. 28th to express your support and to learn the outcome of our meeting with the Mayor.

Location:

Markham Civic Centre, 101 Town Centre Blvd. (northwest corner of Hwy. 7 & Warden Ave.)Markham Civic Centre, (Highway #7 and Warden Avenue), as are most standing and committee meetings. www.markham.ca

Thanks very much and we will look forward to seeing you at 12:00pm on Friday.

Sincerely,

Markham Residents for Responsible Community Planning

We have been Misled!

The current Mosque on Middlefield is smaller than what is being proposed in Markham village. The architectural record for the Middlefield mosque indicates the size is 26,000 square feet with a total occupancy of 952. You can have a look at this in the link below. http://archnet.org/library/downloader/file/3195/file_body/FLS2478.pdf. I can assume from this that the total occupancy of the new structure will be over 1000, as it is even bigger than the Middlefield Mosque. I do not buy that only the worship area will be in use at any one time. We are not being given the full picture and the town is not doing their due diligence to ask the right questions to be sure the information they are provided is accurate, unbiased and TRUTHFUL! This structure will create a traffic nightmare!! The town needs to reopen this based on missing or inaccurate info. This structure needs to be downsized or relocated!!

I would like to say thank you to the people who are helping us UNITE, you have all done amazing work in such little time. Tonight's turnout was amazing and I am so relieved to see so many who are concerned as myself over the major concerns of what is "proposed" to be built in our neighbourhood! I met so many amazing and nice people tonight....wow, I am so blessed to be living with you all in our neighbourhood. The Mayor and Council sure did hear and see that WE demand our say on what gets built around us. "Town" of Markham, "Historical" Markham, that is where I LIVE!

Excellent article written in today's Economist! There are still too many concerns that are not being addressed over this large building on this small property.

Here is some very valid points in todays Economist that I read. There are MANY concerns that have not been no where answered:

http://www.yorkregion.com/news/article/1229027--mosque-questions-go-unanswered-neighbours

I never even thought of wedding celebrations, funerals, parties, events. Parking is SURELY going to be out of hand for this small piece of land. And I never even though of the tower, should it fall on our homes or road because it is so near to us.

Watch the news everyone tonight. CTV & CITY are in the area and OMI too. All are here getting people to talk about the Mosque and the issues of SIZE, PARKING, TRAFFIC and Noise. Everyone is saying they want the Major to have this relocated for everyone's sake. The land is too small for this size structure.

Hi everyone
I'd love any input on this: My daughter's 5th birthday is coming up, and we'd like to throw her a small party. I would love some recommendations, particularly places that would do a spa party or a princess party. There are so many out there, and they are so expensive...I'd at least like to know I'm going to get my money's worth.
Any direction is appreciated!
